Hungry Mother State Park in Marionon Saturday, March 24, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost for the workshop is $10 per person and includes lunch and a PLT activity guide.
PLT is an award-winning environmental education program designed for teachers and other educators, parents, and community leaders working with youth from preschool through grade 12.

The Roundtable is coordinating anotherPLT workshop on Saturday, April 14 at St. Paul Learning Center in St. Paul.The cost will be the same for the St. Paul workshop. Facilitator for both workshops will be environmental educator Lisa Harris of Jonesville.

Based in Abingdon, the Roundtable focuses on outreach activities and pollution prevention projects throughout the Upper Tennessee River watershed in Virginia. Both workshops are funded through RiverWorks Discovery and Alpha Natural Resources. PLT isa program of the Virginia Department of Forestry, Virginia Forestry Association and Virginia Tech College of Natural Resources and Environment.
