Step back in time as you stay in Cabin 4 at First Landing State Park.
Originally built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s,First Landing State Parkis located by the Chesapeake Bay. The park, which is Virginia’s most visited state park, is nestled in Virginia Beach. First Landing offers boating, swimming, nature and history programs, hiking, biking, picnicking, a boat launch, cabins and 20 miles of trails on 2,888 acres. It also has campsites with water and electric hook-ups and nearby access to restrooms and showers.
The park's name was changed in 1997 from Seashore State Park to First Landing State Park to reflect its heritage as the first place where members of the Virginia Company landed. They went on to settle Jamestown.
Rustic Cabin 4 at First Landing State Park is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin with fireplace, kitchen, and deck with screened in porch. This cabin is located up on top of the cabin loop in the trees and is very private. It is across Shore Drive from the beach, and has great jogging, walking and bike trails!

This is another in this series where I actually name names! By that I mean I am sharing a specific cabin at a specific park. As I mentioned inthis articlereferring to Natural Tunnel State Park cabin #2, it was super helpful for me as a state park goer to know the specifics. I don't want you to miss out on this great setting at Cabin 4, and this wonderful experience along the Chesapeake Bay!
Plan your next getaway to this awesome state park and get outside to catch a fresh sea breeze!
