Even though the wind was gusting at 40mph per hour and there were 17 coal colliers anchored in the Chesapeake Bay off Virginia Lottery was able to shoot the Virginia Riches scratch-off promotional video on Monday, April 4.
After scouting locations, the film crew settled on using The Narrows beach near Broad Bay for the sequence. Friends of First Landing State Park members, Ed and Helen Carter, volunteered to be in the short video. Their dog, C.J., enjoyed frolicking in the sand between takes.
