I can't think of the 4th of July without having images of summer fun – swimming, boating, picnics. If you live in Virginia, a Virginia State Park is virtually "around the corner." So come on over to celebrate the 4th of July in style!

It's not just Virginia, there are state parks across all of our 50 states that with our National Parks and local and regional parks make it possible for Americans to celebrate independence for a reasonable cost in a natural setting.
The video that follows was produced last year and we can add some more threatened state park systems to the list. In Virginia we are happy to be open and continue to need your support to keep it that way! Believe it or not, one of the best ways to support your state parks is to visit one!
