Every high school and college student is faced withmidterm and final examinations. Exams more than stress us out in terms of studying; they make us worry about our grades in all our classes for the semester and the year – an exam, midterm or final, can help or hinder a class average.
Teachers require us to study every bit of information we’ve learned in the class so far; for finals, this means a whole year of work compiled into a long exam that makes our brains numb after 50 questions and 100 left to go.
I’m a student who wants to do well in school so I can get into to a good college or university. Iknew I had to put extra time into studyingso Icould do well, but I also know thatI need to strike a balance between studying and relaxing!!
When I came home, I was prepared to continue studying. When exam day came, I felt semi-confident about them: turned out that I received A’s on both of them. I like to think of it as my mode of relaxation that helped.
