A healthy and feisty Bald Eagle is released on April 13th by Ed Clark, President of the Wildlife Center of Virginia. Only a few weeks ago the eagle was found on the ground, gravely ill, and unable to fly more than 10 feet. The eagle was discovered by Georgia Wells of Charles City County and captured by VDGIF Conservation Police Officer Mitch Booden. It was successfully treated and rehabilitated at the Wildlife Center of Virginia, and set free at Westover Plantation on the James River.
