The Easter Bunny is coming to on April 23, and the Friends of Belle Isle will help him hide Easter eggs for kids to find.
The Easter Bunny is hiding eggs at Belle Isle.
The hunt will begin at 2 p.m. with divisions for ages 1 to 3, 4 to 5, 6 to 8, and 9 to 12. Prizes will be given for most eggs found and for finding a golden egg within each age group. Children should bring their own baskets.
Beginning at 1 p.m., children can enter a coloring contest. Prizes will be given for the best coloring within each age group. Beumm the Clown is available for face painting. Children can also visit with the Easter Bunny, and parents that bring a camera can take pictures with Mr. Bunny. Refreshments will be available. Events are free.
Reservations for camping may be made through our reservation center by calling 800 933 7275. The center is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. but is closed all state holidays. You can also make reservations on line any time day or night. Reservations may be made up to eleven months in advance. Same day camping and cabin reservations, when sites are available, must be made through the reservation center.
