Enjoythe music of local musicians performing in a variety of styles during The Homestead at Fairy Stone. These concerts take place in the Fairy Stone State Park amphitheater overlooking beautiful Fairy Stone Lake (or in a nearby picnic shelter in case of rain). Listening to a live music performance is the perfect ending to a summer day on the park’s beach or trails!
The second concert in the series will be on Friday, July 24, with The Foddrells’ funky blend of Piedmont blues and jazz. The Foddrells are “an eclectic cover band that turns cherished gold record hits into adventures and extended play dance parties.”
Ending the series will be Simple Gifts of the Blue Ridge on Friday, August 21. Simple Gifts performs traditional American, British and Irish folk music, with some world music and a few originals thrown in. Their repertoire ranges from train songs to contemporary favorites and love songs.
Both concerts will be 7:30 – 9:00 PM, and you only have to pay for park admission. This series is sponsored and produced by Patrick County.
