Join Park Naturalist Vickie Shufer for a Coastal Plant program at False Cape State Park on Saturday, September 25.
Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge anda 1-mile hike through the park’s maritime forest, participants will learn about the various plants that are found in this unique coastal envrionment, how these plants were used by Native Americans and colonists for food, rope, netting and housing.
