Spring comes early on the coast and with many plants have begun to grow and bloom at False Cape State Park.
Vicky Shufer, wildfoods enthusiast, will lead a seminar on coastal plant uses at False Cape on Saturday, April 3 from 10am-12pm.
The program will begin at Barbour’s Hill at the Visitor Center. The program is open to the public, including hikers, bikers, campers, and tram guests.
The tram tour is a separate program that departs from Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center at 9am and returns at 1pm. The costs for the tram is $8/adults; $6/children under 12 and seniors over 62; children under 3 are free.
The Coastal Plants program is free.
