Did you or someone in your familyever get a Virginia State Parks paycheck?
If so, you can join our Virginia State Parks Alumni Association!
As a full-time Virginia State Parks employee, summer time is full of unfamiliar faces, refreshing ideas, and great conversations with our part-time seasonal staff. The winter time is often shadowed with seniorfull-time staff closing out their careers, quickly attempting to impart 30+years institutional knowledge, and retiring at the end of the calendar year.
In an effort to help channel their enthusiasm and knowledge as well asto keep in touch with our retired, former, and seasonal staff, several former employees have started the Virginia State Parks Alumni Association. If you worked at a Virginia State Park just one summer, spent a few years honing your professional skills before moving on to a different career,or if you have dedicated your whole career and retired from Virginia State Parks, you are eligible for membership.
