A Snowy Owl is hanging around at Kiptopeke State Park
Harry Potter fans and birding life listers will want to head out to Kiptopeke State Park this weekend to catch a glimpse of a snowy owl that has been hanging around the park.

Assistant Park Manager Daniel Jordan snapped these shots in the tree tops near the park's six-bedroomcabins and Chief Ranger Andrew Philpott previously saw the owl near Taylor Pond, a small freshwater pond that features two great photo blinds.

Kiptopeke State Park is located near Cape Charles on Virginia's Eastern Shore. The campground is currently closed, but the six-bedroom cabins are available for reservation year-round. The park is open year-roundfor day visitors and the park's fishing pier is also open year-round.
