Travel betweenJamestown-Scotland Ferry is the link between James City and Surry Counties. This ferry has been in operation since 1925 and gives a free “cruise” to guest visiting these two parks.
From York River, taking I-64 to Route 199 brings visitors to the Colonial Capitol of Historic Jamestown and an air show of various gulls and cormorants.
Landing in Scotland, continue on the Rolfe Highway (Route 31) to Surry. The county seat is the home of pork and peanut processing and Civil War monument. Turning east on the Colonial Trail (Route 10) Turn north on Chippokes Farm Road. We hope you will enjoy theestuary trails and agricultural history our parks have to offer.
