Her parents used to bring her to York River State Park to ride her tricycle.
She was hired to assist in the office as a high school student. After four years of serving in a variety of functions, Angelica (Angie) Keyser is leaving us to work for a private business.
Angie is always happy to help
Angie is one of the friendly faces that greeted out guest at the contact station. Her knowledge of the local area and years of enjoying the park makes her a gifted and unique team player. She helps to make visitors from near and far feel at home.
It is good to get out of the office
Angie is very efficient in record keeping. She was trained by our former, long time Office Specialist J. Piper and is our current OS, Margaret Prahasky's right hand. She also assisted the interpretive staff with Kid's Kamps and was ACA Certified as a Flatwater Canoe Guide. Her cheerful attitude and helpfulness is greatly appreciated by our entire staff.
She worked well with the kids
It is because of her skills and pursuit of higher education that she has taken an office assistant position with a local contractor. And, as seen in a blog article two years ago, Cupid has struck an arrow in her heart. She and her fiance will be married next summer.
Wedding bells aren't too far away
Angie's last day will be Friday, July 25th. We wish her the best of luck with all she wishes to achieve in life.
