LOVE IS IN THE AIR AND SO IS MUSIC!
Music is in the air at Pocahontas State Park
Springtime is my favorite time of the year. Plants emerge from the earth to showcase their flowers and trees unfold their leaves to shade the earth. For me, springtime stirs the emotion of love and the desire to reconnect with that special someone. The long harsh winter is over and suddenly I find myself digging through my closet looking for my summer attire. The urge to explore the outdoors, attend festivals and outdoor concerts can’t be denied.
Casper, a local favorite, will perform at Pocahontas State Park.
The song “Love is in the Air” keeps playing in my head; “Love is in the Air, Everywhere I look around, Love is in the air, every sight and every sound.” These lyrics bring back memories of a special event my husband and I attended. Several summers ago, we attended the Pocahontas State Park. I can still feel the excitement of the evening. The sound of music filled the warm night air and the sky was filled with twinkling stars. Even though we were surround by hundreds of people, it felt like it was just us two.
