Fireworks will take place once it's dark, after the concert
Leesylvania State Park hosts a series of summer concerts each month, beginning in June and ending in August. Why drive in the congested DC traffic, battle crowds and walk tirelessly for just for a good view of those darn fireworks? Well, some of us do it for our kids, others do it for the tradition, and some for the festivities that surround it. I’m here to tell you, we’re doing it better than DC.

Bring your kids, friends and family for a fun outdoorcelebration this4th of July!
This opening concert is kickin’ off the summer season with entertainment featuring the United State Navy Band, Country Current . The band will setup on the deck by the Breakwater park store, with a backdrop of the Potomac River. The park will have large tents for shade or throw down your own blankets or chairs and watch as the sun sets over the water. We will have activities for children, face painting and giving away some other little goodies (like cliff bars, bug bands, coloring books…and other stuff).

- June 29 US Navy Band, Country Current (Country)
- July 27 Los Triunfadores del 4 (Latin)
- Aug 24 No Charge (Rock, Country, Americana)
*Each concert is themed with different genres to suit different tastes.

Don’t forget, each concerts start at 7 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m. Fireworks to follow on June 29th only. A $5 parking fee applies to each vehicle entering the park, although the event is free.
