Local cancer survivors and caregivers will celebrate life, survivorship and new beginnings with the ultimate symbols of health – trees. Park staff will plant and dedicate two trees: the Red Oak as a symbol of strength and vitality, and a Red Bud as a symbol of new beginnings. The event will take place at the entrance to the park at the intersection of Twin Lakes Road and Indian Springs Road at 3 p.m.
