This program is for children ages 5 to 12 years of age.
The Junior Ranger Program aims to help children develop their own environmental ethic while enjoying hands-on activities and outdoor games. Children will become aware of the need for conservation and learn the importance of preservation. We promise they will have fun too!
Children will learn about the history of the park through hands-on activities
and outdoor games.
As always, we will use hands-on programs, aquatic activities, nature hikes, creative crafts, and fun games. The cost of the program is $25.00 per child and advance registration is required. Transportation must be provided to and from the park each day. For more information or to register your child, contact the park by email.

The park is located off State Route 24 between Appomattox and U.S. 60 and from Routes 626, 640 and 692. Approximately 12 miles from the Appomattox Courthouse National Historical Park.
