Swimming
If there’s one thing Virginia has, its great beaches! Those found along the Atlantic coast and in the Chesapeake Bay are world class and include Virginia Beach, Kiptopeke State Park, and Oceanview Beach, just to name a few where great swimming, plus nearby attractions, festivals, and other outdoor activities can be enjoyed. Rent an umbrella and chair, or even a boogie board if you need a little more excitement! And for smaller crowds, many of Virginia’s state parks offer smaller inland lake beaches. Whatever your aquatic needs, you can fill them in Virginia!
