Attention all Richmond Area (and beyond!) Homeschoolers: Pocahontas State Park is offering Homeschool Discovery Programs for the Fall 2010. By using a combination of classroom and field work our discovery programs help foster an understanding and appreciation of nature and the environment that will last a lifetime!
Programs start promptly at the time listed. Meet at the Nature Center except for canoeing, which will meet at the boat dock. All Classes are $4/each and require advanced registration. Payment is due when you arrive at the program destination site.
To register or for more information, please call 804-796-4472 or email [email protected].
Please cancel your reservation at least two days in advance if you can’t make it. Classes will meet rain or shine, but will be canceled if severe weather is predicted.
