I must admit, I was a little concerned how this would work out when a large family pulled in their camper as our new Camp Host at Twin Lakes State Park. However, it didn’t take long for us all to become one big happy family!

The whole family had a great experience at Twin Lakes State Park
In the short month they were at our campground, this Mom was an inspiration to me daily. Her entire family willingly did things to pitch in and help and had a great time in the process. Tyler, age 14 said “Everything was awesome.” Tyler helped raise and lower the flags among many other things. Katelyn, age 12 cleaned signs, helped with office work, passed out activity flyers and more. Abigail, age 5 and Baker age 3 were active participants in nature programs and events offered by the park.

We were all so sad to see our new Camp Host family leave at the end of the month, tears were actually shed. I asked Becky if she would bring her family back again. “Yes,” she said, “this experience has been most rewarding and positive for all of us. We will definitely be back next year and will recommend to other friends and family all the wonderful benefits of camp hosting.”
