Catch a glimpse of spring along the coastal forest during the “Back Bay Kayak Paddle” hosted by False Cape State Park on Sunday, April 4 from 3pm-6pm.
Using our equipment and with our guide, you can paddle the coastline along Back Bay to look for migrating birds, nesting Osprey, and newborn feral pigs. Kayaks and equipment are provided–no paddling experience is necessary.
Meet at Little Island City Park in Sandbridge. Reservations are required by calling False Cape State Park at 757-426-7128. Cost is $16/person.
Please be mindful of forecasted weather and dress appropriately for water recreation. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and bug repellant. And don’t forget your camera!! You’re going to love this trip!
