Caledon Natural Area is a beautiful state park located in King George County on the Potomac River. It is well known for it’s bald eagle population but not for camping. We don’t offer camping as one of the park’s recreational pursuits. However, Caledon will be hosting a very special campout in honor of the National National Wildlife Federation. Everyone attending one of Virginia State Parks’ events this weekend will be eligible for three grand prizes: seven nights camping in a Virginia State Park, 2 nights in a Virginia State Parks camping cabin, or an annual Naturally Yours Plus Parking Passport. Every participating park will give away a two night camping stay.
