Culler's Trail is a great mostly level walk near the river, fields and wooded areas of the park so you get it all – a great family walk. You can go the entire 2.6 miles and it is multi-purpose.
City pollution means the air in urban areas is more congested and dirty. A simple example is to think about how quickly dust accumulates if you live near an intersection or on busy street (if you do, then you know what I am talking about)! Or just look at your car, wash it and give it a day or two and see what happens.
To give your lungs a chance to clear and to breathe easy it is recommended that you get around 3 days of fresh mountain air every few months. And where will you find this fresh mountain air? At a Virginia State Parkof course!
Time to Breathe Easy
Leave the congestion and the mobs of people in the city and take yourself out to a Virginia State Park, where the population is much much less! Get outside and hike, bike or walk in the meadowlands, on the forested trails and overlooks, and places that are chock-full of trees! Yes there is pollen, but pollen is natural, gas emissions are not!
You have click here to see a map of them all.
Plan your next getaway to a Virginia State Park today, then you will have something special to look forward to!
Yes, the air does feel fresher up here!
