Holliday Lake State Park will host a Junior Ranger Program on Tuesday July 19, Wednesday July 20 (from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm each day)and Thursday July 21 (from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm).
Junior Ranger Program is fun at Holliday Lake State Park
The Junior Ranger Program will give children ages 3 to 12 a three-day look at the ecology of Holliday Lake and the Appomattox-Buckingham State Forest.
This will be done through hands-on programs, nature crafts, fun activities and games. It will end with a graduation campfire for family and friends on Thursday July 21 at 7:00 pm.
This program will be lead by Dr. Jim Jordan, Park Naturalist and the park's interpretive staff. The children will be split into age appropriate groups for some activities.
