Graduation is on Thursday and Junior Rangers are awarded a certificate and t-shirt to commemorate the fun they’ve had learning about nature. Families are invited to return and join a special Friday night campfire and camp-out for a Virginia outdoor education experience everyone enjoys.
Today the 4-6 year old Junior Rangers are learning about eco-systems and habitats, going on a hike and making an animal out of clay.
This afternoon 10-12 year old Junior Rangers will explore the day’s topic in more depth and may even play a round of nature Jeopardy before going on a hike.
Whatever they do they are led by enthusiastic and knowledgeable Junior Ranger Leaders. The Junior Ranger leaders make sure that everyone has a good time while getting to know and care more about the beautiful world around them.
