The Friends of Bear Creek Lake State Park is one of Virginia State Parks newest Friends group. Already the group has approximately 20 enthusiastic members. Their first big event will be May 15 celebrating a Trail Dedication & 70th Anniversary. Patty Elton serves as President, Mary Anna Wilcox is Vice-President, Debbie Kennell is Secretary along with Bobby Wilcox, Treasurer.
