Second Installment in the “Imperial Multimedia of Baraboo, Wisconsin, Virginia State Parks installed State Park Information Stations in all our parks. These computerized kiosks provide detailed information on all of our parks. Most notable are detailed trail maps with GPS weigh points that can be printed by guests before starting a hike.
Imperial Multimedia is also assisting us by redesigning our standard state park maps adding GPS data and detailed trail information.
Imperial is also working with the Virginia Association for Parks on providing the information station content information on line along with an interactive web site that will be a model for outdoor recreation providers. This new website is scheduled to be launched this year.
