Recently volunteers came to Douthat State Park to help volunteer at Apple Day on Saturday, October 10, 2009.
Volunteers included members from the Junior Women’s Club, the Master Naturalist Program and individual volunteers not associated with an organization.
Douthat would like to encourage civic groups to come out and volunteer during a special event or at the park in general.
