A Great Bunch of AmeriCorps Volunteers
AmeriCorps Volunteers in Action
This summer program will provide opportunities for selected AmeriCorps members to serve in the parks by working with park staff to deliver interpretive programs and helping to grow the volunteer program.
Members will receive lots of training including intensive interpretive training, volunteer management, customer service and watercraft skills. This program requires the member to commit to serving 675 hours between April and September. Each park has a Site Supervisor that interviews and selects the member to serve at their location.
If you are interested you can find more information and must apply website here.
