Someone just rolled into the area and went for a drive over to Virginia State Parks!
So besides Fall festivals, what other things are there to do at Virginia State Parks this time of year? Well I am glad you asked! Let me gather a list of a few items and share them with you:
#1) Cabins are open, ready for you to rent. Grill your meal outside in the fresh air with a water view!
Cooking a meal together is all part of being a family
#2) tell ghost stories around the fire as you make s'mores
The kids will delight in hot dogs cooked in the great outdoors
Family fun and making memories
#3) of course the "other" water sports like fishing
Cast your line
#4) or paddling, check out the wildlife along the shore
You can rent a kayak or canoe or paddle boat at many of the State Parks
#5) Do kid stuff, leap-frogging over logs, playing tag, catching tadpoles
Kids being kids in the great outdoors!
#6) The trails are open for exploration
Bring the old hound dog to help explore
