On Monday, January 17, a group of volunteers celebrated the legacy of Holliday Lake State Park more beautiful.
Most of these volunteers were from Lakeshore Trail, resurfaced a 75 foot long pathway with gravel in front ofShelter #1, filled four group campsites in our new campground with gravel, and even filled some potholes with gravel in our day use area.
It was cold and overcast, but never rained. All the volunteers enjoyed the time spent at the park. Our Park Ranger Chad Shelters and Grounds Workers Bobby Hudgins and Tim Ortizreally appreciated the help. What a great way to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
