On Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22 vehicles flooded Douthat State Park to enjoy the 13th Annual Lake Run Two Day Car Show.
Guests enjoyed the band No Lifeguard On Duty performing from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 21.
On Sunday, May 22 cars filled the beach parking lot with the car show kicked off at noon.

Door prizes were given out throughout the day to all registered vehicles. A 50/50 raffle was collected to help support the Douthat State Park Discovery Center.

Five trophies were given out this year on Sunday, May 22. Best Engine went to Randy Holloway of Salem with a 1971 Dodge Demon for the second year in a row. Best Interior went to Doug Bowen of Covington with a 1996 Chevy Truck. Best Paint went to Allen Sheetz of Mt. Solon with a 2001 Chevy Corvette. Best Engineered went to Mike Pugh of Forest with a 1982 Toyota 4 x 4. Ranger’s Pick went to John Norder of Verona with a 1923 Ford T-Bucket.
The winner of the spark plug changing contest was Mike Layn. The winner of the tire changing contest was Floyd Wolfe. The winner of the tire hurling contest was David Brogger. The winner of the guess the car part was Mouse Alt. The winner of the 13 and under paddle-boat competition was Amy Vanburren and Jake. The winner of the 14 and up paddle-boat competition was Hunter and Lorie.
