Have you ever wondered what goes on in the park after dark? Now is your chance! Come explore Pocahontas State Parkafter dark on Friday, October 21st from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Plenty of activities are planned for children of all ages and there are plenty of activities for the adults too. Pick a pumpkin from our pumpkin patch. Enjoy a wagon ride from the pumpkin patch to a creepy destination where G-rated ghost tales will be told. Touch gooey sensations and have creepy treats. An owl prowl hike is also available for those who choose to adventure on a trail in the dark.

Registration is required for this event by calling the park office at 804-796-4255. Cost per person is $6 or $15 per family. No parking fee. Meet at the pumpkin patch located at the CCC field. For more information,Krista Weatherford.
Directions:
From Interstate 95 south of Richmond: Take exit 61 onto Route 10 west, then left onto Route 655 (Beach Road). Go about four miles to State Park Road, which is on the right.
From Interstate 95 north of Richmond: Take Interstate 295 south to Route 10 west (Iron Bridge Road) to Route 655 (Beach Road) to State Park Road.
From 64 west of Richmond: Take Route 288 south to Route 10 east (Iron Bridge Road) to Route 655 (Beach Road) to State Park Road.
