Thanks to a Memorandum of Understanding with the Town of Farmville, Norfolk Southern.
The new section is from Rice to High Bridge and the only access is from Rice. Parking is available where the trail crosses Rice’s Depot Road. High Bridge Trail now has 24 miles of trail open but is still split by the High Bridge. Work to renovate the bridge will begin soon.
