One of my favor parts of planning the Westmoreland State Park is the excursions.
I love the Northern Neck and I love to show it off!
There are so many things to do here on the “Neck” at any given weekend. On May 2nd we will offer three great and very different ways to experience the Northern Neck of Virginia!
Rappahannock River Valley National Wildlife Refuge/Wilna
First learn archery with Gary Bareford from US Fish and Wildlife at the Cat Point Creek with Chief Rangers Sammy Zambon and Laurie Schular.
Archery Range
Kayaking on the river
The second excursion will take you fishing with click here to see the new movie trailer!
Historic Christ Church
The Tides Inn
The other option is the lower Dog and Oyster Vineyards.
Eagles soring over the cliffs at Westmoreland
After you make your reservation for the weekend, you will be directed where to sign up for excursions. For participants coming in Thursday night, we will have a dinner excursion to Colonial Beach via golf carts.
Colonial Beach water front
