Hungry Mother State Parkwishes to thank all of our veterans and their families for the many sacrifices for our freedom!
Memorial Day at Hungry Mother State Parktook time to remember the reason for this popular holiday.
Each year the VFW of Marion coordinates activities for the town to honor and remember the men and women who have given so much for our country. Beginning the week before Memorial Day, the VFW display crosses bearing the names of deceased veterans along with an American flag on the county’s courthouse lawn.
