Kiptopeke State Park is hosting the Children's Outdoor Exploration Exhibit Tent

Eastern Shore Birding & Wildlife Festival
Pack yourkids, yourbinoculars, your camera, your fishing pole, and a picnic lunchthen head on over the Virginia's Eastern Shore on Saturday, October 11, 2014. While the park is hosting a variety of guided field trips and birding programs throughout the festival that runs from Friday, October 10 through Sunday, October 12, 2014,
Kiptopeke State Park'smain event will be the Children's Outdoor Exploration Exhibit tent on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Kid's craft, activities, and games will be in the Children's Outdoor Exploration Exhibit tent
Exhibits will feature hands-on activitiesby a variety of outdoor agencies, including the Chincoteague Field Station and more.
Parking fees are waived and aspecial shuttle bus will be running on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Birding and Wildlife Festival headquarters at the Cape Charles firehouse.
Ranger Parker Redfox will be at the event ready to play games with the kids.
Special appearances by Ranger Parker Redfox and Smokey Bear are on the schedule as well. This is a perfect opportunity to get your picture with our outdoor mascots whilelearningabout outdoor conservation and wildlife prevention efforts.
The children's activities at Kiptopeke State Park are free and pre-registration is not required. However, the here to register for those programs some of which may have additional fees.
