There were some amazing photographs submitted to the Four Seasons category that celebrate all Virginia State Parks have to offer 365 days a year. The top award goes to Jmes Adams for his picture "Dogwoods and Redbuds in Fog" taken at Pocahontas State Park. I think spring photos are particularly difficult to master since spring pops out gradually and often there is a lot of winter left in the background. This photograph was taken in April 2008 with a Nikon D200.
For a winter offering, Chris Wilson's "A Deer in Winter" wins honorable mention for his photo taken during a York River State Park in February 2010.
