A friend on Twitter commented recently that everyone and their brother seems to have a blog now. My quick reply was that once upon a time we had a little book with a lock and key that we wrote in and hid from the world and now we pour our hearts out for all to see on the web.
Yes, I believe that blogging is definitely the diary of the 21st century.
My boss likes to say that Virginia State Parks are a “Tonic for the Mind, Body and Spirit.” That’s true of all nature (we’re just a great place to find it). Everything from a sunrise to sunset, mountain vistas to a field of wildflowers, ocean waves to a quiet lake. The beauty of nature lifts my soul even at my darkest moments. Whether you are a serious birder or wildlife watcher or just someone who loves the beauty of nature, sharing your experience in nature can be a cathartic experience. It is also a great way to log your experiences and catalog your pictures.
