The Chippokes Farm & Forestry Museum will be hosting the All NEW BIGGER & BETTER Antique Steam & Gas Engine Festival on May 30 and 31, 2009.
The Festival will encompass all the museum grounds as well as the Sawmill area. There will be things to do for the whole family.
The 1935 saw mill will be milling logs on the other side of the museum’s forestry trail. Many antique tractors, farm tools and engines will be on display. Many engines will demonstrate their purpose and power thrilling farm enthusiasts. Antique cars, motorcycles and some military vehicles will be shown as well.
In the park’s cultural area live entertainment and heritage craft demonstrations will be happening all weekend long. There will be much to see and do for the whole family with a petting zoo for the kids, a farmers market to visit and art and crafts to view. Live entertainment all weekend (bring your lawn chair) and much much more!
