On Friday, May 13, staff fromGrayson Highlands State Park. Volunteers and guest were filmed for a promotional video for the Virginia State Parks lottery game. The crew couldn’t have asked for better weather, as they hiked trails, enjoyed vistas, and mingled with the ponies.
dron Trial, one of Grayson Highlands most popular trails, is the best place to find the ponies. The trail also intersects with the Appalachian Trail and is part of the trail system leading to Mount Rogers, Virginia’s highest point.
Each of the trails at Grayson Highlands offers aspects unique to that specific trail. Cabin Creek Trail features waterfalls. From the top of the Twin Pinnacle Trail you can see three different states.
