We hope everyone is aware by now that we offer a 25% discounts on Thursday and Friday for cabin and lodge rentals for the weekend. Thanksgiving weekend is unusual since we have a number of folks come in for the holiday and then leave Friday or Saturday. The other issue is that the call center closes at noon on Wednesday and will not be open Thursday or Friday for the weekend.
So, we are offering a different special for this Thanksgiving weekend 2010. Book on Tuesday or Wednesday for any reservation starting Wednesday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday to receive the 25% last minute discount. We do not allow arrivals on Thursday since there is no cleaning staff to turn a cabin.
We have very little available for Wednesday arrival, a few more cabins for Friday arrival, and quite a bit for Saturday arrival. Remember we also require a minimum two night stay. As always, the discount only applies to new reservations and you must request the discount at the time you make the reservation. I was just at Shenandoah River State Park this past weekend and while most of the color is gone, there is still some left and the fall weather was beautiful.
