Pork, Peanut, and Pine Festival
July 20-21, 2013 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Coming up this weekend–Saturday July 20, 2013 and Sunday, July 21, 2013–is the Chippokes Plantation State Park Pork, Peanut and Pine Festival. With an incredible line-up of musicians, crafters, and food booths, this festival is a family friendly crowd pleaser.
Costumed historians bring bygone eras to life at the festival.

Shuttles, be they wagon,open-air tram, or passenger van, will be running during the festival.
Remember, admission is only $5 per person. Children 10 and under are FREE. Don't forget to pack a cooler of extra water (it gets hot on the plantation), bring your camera, and your swimsuit. The park'sOlympic-sized swimming pool or the shallows of the James River will cool you off!
