If you are someone that loves history like I do, and wonders “how it used to be”, Leesylvania State Park will give us that opportunity December 21and 22from 10:00 a.m.. to 4:00 p.m.
Learn how to make decorations from the 1860's!
Experience Christmas first hand as it was celebrated during the American Civil War Era. Costumed staff and volunteers will interpret how people decorated and made Christmas special even during those trying and difficult times. Try your hand at making a few of those decorations to take home.

Santa will don his 1860’s suit just for the occasion! Don’t forget to bring your cameras!
Manassas Chanticleers caroling in the Visitor Center
For a very special treat on Saturday, the Manassas Chanticleers will sing carols December 21 from 11 a.m.. to 2 p.m.
Light refreshments will be served. Progam cost $2 per person or $6 per family.
So please join us at the Visitor Center for a unique and fun way to initiate the week of Christmas.
