More than 450 re-enactors, merchants, artists and artisans bring history to life during Friends of Wilderness Road State Park.
Activities are scheduled; Friday and Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, 10 am to 3 pm. The highlight to the living history event is the exciting frontier battles that take place on Saturday at 1 pm and 8:30 pm. Daily fees are $5 for adults and $1 for children 6-12. Children under six are admitted free.

Historic Martin's Station is Wilderness Road State Park’s re-creation of Captain Joseph Martin's Fort originally built in 1775 near present day Rose Hill, Virginia. It played a key role in the westward expansion and settlement of the American frontier. Wilderness Road State Park is managed by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation.
