Lace up your running shoes and join us for the York River State Park RECOVERY ROCKS 5K on Saturday, August 25, 2012!
Runners visit York River all year long
The Colonial Road Runners are active participants in local fund raisers and physical fitness. Combining these two great organizations with the tranquil York River shoreline makes this 5K a popular race for runners far and near.
The course will be asphalt and dirt through the woods
Race day registration and packet pick up begins at 7 a.m. with a one mile fun run/walk start at 8 a.m. The run/walk begins in earnest at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 9:45 a.m. with an awards ceremony with incredible door prizes and unbelievable food.
The trails challenge runners
So, come run with us at York River State Park and help our neighbors start new lives.
