Aftertwo years ofhaving lots of extra space, Shenandoah River State Park's visitor center exhibits arebeing installed this week.This is a very exciting time for both park staff andvisitors alike.The new exhibit area will feature displays onthe history of the Shenandoah River and Valley, including some Native American artifacts found in the area.There willalso be a touch-screen display which allows guests to learnabout the different species of birdsand other wildlife found in the park. Additionally, digital pictureframes, taxidermied animalsand recreationalinformation will also be displayed.The installation is slated to be completed by the end of this week and we encourage everyone to come out and visit.
