In the shadow of our Nation's Capitol, Mason Neck State Park is home to our Nation's proud symbol, the Bald Eagle. It protects habitats that help eagles and other wildlife thrive. The park also offers programming that introduces future generations to the need to protect such great places and offers acres of outdoor recreation opportunities.

Coca-Cola's America Is Your Park contest and a committed group of volunteers that have been working on winning the Coke grant for three years, has put us in a position to make that a reality. We have been hovering between first and second place for some time.

There are 4 double voting days coming up – July 4, 5, 13 and 14 – without your hope and an increase it our voting base, our lead could slip away.
Programming is a major part of the park's mission
Maybe Mason Neck is not your most favorite Virginia State Park. Why should you vote for it? Winning this contest will benefit all of our parks with great publicity from Coke. Virginia State Parks is a TEAM and we support whatever park needs it. We hope you will agree.
Too busy to set up an account? Computers not your thing? Our volunteers will help you do it. Here is what you need to send them:

Get a new one at www.gmail.comif you want -some people don't like to use their "real" or business email for voting things

5. and a password to use to log into all three accounts – something easy like eaglelover
Email all of the information to [email protected].
They will let you know when your accounts are set up and also send you special step by step instructions of how to vote. It should only take a couple of minutes to vote each day.
If you are having problems with your accounts or would like them to check your accounts to make sure you are getting all points possible – just send us your Coca-cola log in and password and we will check them out and get back to you.
New accounts are vital for us to be able to stay in the money. Please set up accounts for family members too.
Mason Neck makes exploring nature easy
Remember, FourSquare check-ins count as 5 votes and Map My Fitness workouts get 10 votes so these are more valuable especially on the four double vote days.
